2523 (Linton) squadron parades twice a week, on Monday and Thursday evenings. The format of the evening is ideal for cadet training. The night starts off with First Parade. This enables the Non Commissioned Officers (NCO’s) to take the register, inspect uniforms and detail the evenings training program. The training program is based around the various activities provided by the ATC. A number of activities such as flying and field craft require an element of basic training prior to taking part in the activity. There is a 40 minute training period followed by a tea break. A second 40 minute training period is then followed by Final Parade. Final Parade gives all members of staff a chance to pass on notices and inform cadets of forthcoming events, it also gives cadets a chance to ask questions of all staff.
